BEE EATER (below) Something Special - Limited Edition prints of the signed by Angela Last August 2014 I went to look at the Bee-eaters that had nested on the Isle of Wight.. It was an amazing experience and made more so because the twitchers - one who had flown all the way down from Scotland were extremely accommodating and allowed me to view them through their scopes. I studied their form and colour until I had memorised them. I then rushed home and painted three paintings from memory. I have called it "On the Line". because the delightful birds spent so much time on the power lines therefore making it easy for us to view them. (The original It is for sale for £1,200 framed at the Naturezones Gallery). Eight bee-eaters fledged and they left the Island at the beginning of September.
